Breaking Report: Trump Pulls Plug On GOP Health Care Bill

House Speaker Paul Ryan has pulled the GOP’s health care bill at President Donald Trump’s request, according to numerous media outlets.

As Bloomberg reports, the cancellation comes as “a growing number of Republicans” expressed their opposition to the latest version of the bill.

CNN states that Trump asked Paul Ryan to pull the bill before today’s vote following news that it would likely not pass.

ABC News, in the video below, reports that Trump communicated his request via a phone call after a surprise visit the Speaker made to the White House.

Robert Costa with the Washington Post alleges that the President spoke with him concerning the decision to drop the bill.

In an article, ABC News points out that Trump’s move today is straight out of The Art Of The Deal.

Following news of the bill’s cancellation, several social media users – including conservatives – appear happy.

Many conservatives appear poised against Paul Ryan, who has been the subject of much derision recently.

I’m so confused. Trump wanted this bill passed. Desperately. He lobbied for it. He held multiple meetings trying to get freedom caucus republicans on board. Now that he realizes it won’t pass because CONSERVATIVES in the House have a problem with it …. he pulls the plug? And we’re supposed to blame Ryan, and call it Ryancare, and call for Ryan to step down?

I am no Ryan fan, but at what point did this bill (and the blame) suddenly become Ryan’s? What happened to the great negotiator? Own the blame, dude.

One thing I absolutely LOVE about Milo is that he doesn’t run from blame or controversy. He faces it head on. Trump could learn a thing or two from Milo.

Well first off you assume this bill was entirely Trump’s creation, since the moment I have read that dribble it sounded like some Establishment republican shit that Ryan and some other GOP senators shoved down his throat. Though look at the bigger picture, Trump pissed off everyone on the left with this bill, then pulls it. Now the liberals are on a crusade about not losing their healthcare, it’s only a matter of time before Democratic senators are forced to come sit down and work on real healthcare and like Trump said in his press conference, “When they’re ready, we’re ready.”

Ryan made it his (freee healthcare for illegal immigrants and keeping anti-gun stuff from the original ACA) and failed.

Repeal the d*mn thing. What, are they now going to wait for Obamacare to crash and burn while those on it are going to pay higher and higher premiums, not to mention higher deductibles? That of course would exclude those on Medicaid or getting subsidies. It is time the Conservatives quit playing the game. What we need is to make it an absolutely free market. Not one governed by state or federal agencies. If the insurance was good and fair, it could stand on its own. If it is not and you do not look hard enough to find out, then buyers beware. If Obamacare crashes, how many will be out of insurance then? Obama started this disaster and it’s like the bad gift that just keeps on giving and you can’t rid of it.

Because the damage is done and insurance companies that were going to be destroyed by the ACA have been destroyed. A blanket repeal only pushes us closer to a nationalized healthcare system with another major set back and no progress for over 20 years in minimizing government fuckery in this industry.

Your right. But wasn’t that the real intention of Obamacare of moving us towards a nationalized healthcare system? I remember when Obamacare was passed, Pelosi and Reed were on an interview and both said they wanted us to go to a single payer system. I hope what Matthew Sexton responded to me about Schumer and Pelosi int time maybe crucified by their own side. I’m going to watch that copy of the Press Conference he suggested.

Your missing the bigger picture, I just finished repeatedly watching his press conference. Daddy just trolled everyone left of Ann Coulter. Seriously watch it, he is basically just saying, “Hey Dem’s just pissed off your side, sit with that a bit then come see me when your serious about healthcare.” It’s just a matter of time before Nancy Pelosi and Schumer are crucified by their own side and the Dems sit down for a real healthcare discussion. Winning, always winning.

Thank you President Trump. Paul Ryan just doesn’t comprehend that people want Obamacare repealed in ti’s entirety with no alternatives proposed and none willing to be accepted. There is Medicaid, and that is administered by the states. It will take care of those who have no insurance. Ryan is not going to win reelection. He’s betrayed those who elected him. No doubt he’s a Democrat in RINO clothing.

I hope this is a case of the Trump admin giving Paul Ryan enough rope to hang himself with so that they can replace him since he was a #NeverTrump. That would be a very Bannon move. If not then unfortunately this shows a high level of incompetency right out of the gate which is very bad. I don’t know if this country can survive another 4-8 years of Democrats in charge, we’ll just be the next Germany, or Sweden, or France, or Ect any country that’s received a substantial number of refugees. People like to repeat catch phrases and make jokes but we need to secure our borders. Europe fought against the incursion of Islam for centuries, I don’t want to see all of western culture fail in my life time. This is serious, whatever powers to be that are fueling Leftist policies are trying to create a new world order and using Islam as the battering ram to take down our gates. The world fought to stop the 3rd Reich when these tactics were last tried…now we’re welcoming it with open arms.

Stop being so fucking glib about it.

Is there a viable third party to vote for? Maybe Trump should put someone on that.
