Last night, Secret Service officials arrested a man after he drove up to a White House checkpoint and told them he was carrying a bomb.
KTLA reports that there is no confirmation of whether or not the vehicle actually contained a bomb. Authorities are, however, conducting a criminal investigation into the incident.
This marks the third suspicious incident to take place at the White House in one week.
Last Saturday, March 11, a man jumped the White House fence and roamed the premises for an alarming 17 minutes before Secret Service agents detected him.
Yesterday afternoon, a man jumped a preliminary barrier in front of the White House in an apparent attempt to breach the property. He was stopped before he could get to the fence.
For many, these may seem like isolated incidents with little significance. To others, however, it’s a sign of something more sinister in the works.

It’s not just Twitter users hypothesizing that Trump is in danger in the White House.
Just days ago, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino – who guarded George W. Bush and Obama – stated that the President is “not safe in the White House.”
“The Secret Service cannot even keep one person off the grounds,” he said. “What will they do if 40 terrorists charge the White House? And believe me, the terrorists are already thinking about that.”
