Trump Signs New Executive Order On Travel, Sparks Mass Twitter Meltdown

Moments ago, President Donald Trump signed his revised executive order suspending immigration from a number of countries, prompting an epic level of triggering.

According to USA Today, Trump’s new order affects citizens and nationals from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen who did not obtain a visa by 5 p.m. on January 27, 2017.

Al Jazeera has already taken to calling it a “Muslim ban.”

Several Twitter users were very quick to point out their error.

Keith Olbermann, meanwhile, posted this triggered out response to the executive order, which was accompanied by equally triggered comments.

CNN’s readers are also apparently hysterical.

Keith Ellison and his fans have also weighed in.

Conservatives aren’t all happy with Trump’s revised executive order, however.

Some appear to have found fault in the fact that the President has left Iraq off the list of banned countries.

“We gave you hummus, have some respect”??? Talk about throwing a penny into a pot of gold. That’s like Gene Roddenberry asking NASA to respect the physics of Star Trek because he gave them “Enterprise” for the name of the first shuttle. I like hummus and all, but “respect”, WTH??

The Saudi government cooperates with records and makes efforts actually look like a modern country so we don’t shove cruise missiles up their ass. The 6 on the list don’t.

Because they’re an ally and we have a treaty with them, unfortunately. It’s really hard to ban travel from an allied country. Personally I think Saudi Arabia should be wiped off the map.

This is easy. Look it up. This information is easy to find. Why ask the question if you’re not interested in the answer?

There is still a lot of room to improve. It’s really just a travel control measure if iraq is not on the list. Many more should be on that list
