Watch: CNN Host Mistakenly Calls Trump “President Obama”

While covering President Donald Trump’s meeting with health insurance CEOs today, CNN Kate Bolduan accidentally referred to him as President Obama, much to the chagrin of many social media users.

After airing the live, open meeting, Bolduan said, “you’re listening right there, President Obama speaking during a roundtable meeting with CEOs… President Trump, rather – I’m sorry.”

See the goof below (the clip is cued up to a few seconds before Bolduan’s error).

The Daily Caller reports that this is the second time Kate Bolduan has made this very error, the last time being during the Flynn controversy.

Social media users are not impressed.

Yeah. This is much ado about nothing. It is almost March, and I’ll still occasionally write 2016.

Honest mistake. You say President Obama for 8 years and have to switch over to saying President Trump, easy to slip up.

I don’t understand all the hate. People are so quick to jump on someone simply because they’re from the other party.

When are we just gonna start calling it the Crafted News Network?

As for her mistake, I don’t really see it as that big a deal. Funny, sure, but not headline-worthy.

Anybody genuinely upset about this is just as pathetic as those upset about a well done steak. Sad!
