A whole host of liberals on Twitter have decided that they aren’t going to pay taxes and many of them are planning marches for tax day.
People like Mia Farrow are tweeting about refusing to pay taxes now that Donald J. Trump is in office. The Guardian interviewed Andrew Newman, a Stony Brook University — state funded — English professor who is a part of the effort to resist President Trump by not paying taxes.
“My tax money will be going towards putting up a wall on the Mexican border instead of helping sick people. It will contribute to the destruction of the environment and maybe more nuclear weapons. I think there will be a redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy elite and Trump’s campaign for the working man and woman was an absolute fraud. If you pay taxes you are implicated in the system.”
I refuse to pay a penny of my taxes toward Trump's insane, insulting wall. #IstandwithMexico

Many liberals are calling for actual protests and demonstrations on tax day.
Huffington Post is reporting that anti-Trump rallies and marches planned for tax day are beginning to pick up steam on Twitter.
Trump claims no one cares about his taxes. The next mass protest should be on Tax Day to prove him wrong.

I ENDORSE THIS 100%. This is the next march. This is the next demonstration. Please RT, everyone. Every city. https://t.co/lgVLknPnnG

@HamillHimself yes except we should do the march even sooner. Also – no one in usa pays taxes until trump & other corps do.

April 15. 'Make Trump Release His Taxes' March. I'll do it. On board.
— Carl Newman (@ACNewman) January 23, 2017
A Facebook event has popped up and over 39,000 people are listed as interested. The description reads, in part:
Join us at the White House on Saturday, April 15, 2017, to march and show Donald Trump that he owes us transparency. Two-thirds of Americans are concerned that he may be putting his interests ahead of the country’s. Until we see his tax returns, we can’t know for sure.
Some on Twitter find the idea of liberals not paying their taxes pretty entertaining:
Let's hope you like the color Orange.. They have a nice jump suit ready and waiting for you..
