Corey Feldman Now Says He Thinks He Was Poisoned in Alleged Syringe Attack

Speaking to several media outlets while promoting his new film, Corey Feldman revealed his car doors were locked during a recent alleged attack.

The former child star caused a stir on social media on March 28 claiming that he was stabbed whilst sitting in his car at a red light in Los Angeles.

He tweeted that the attack occurred at 10:45pm, by a man who randomly opened his car door and stabbed him with “something.” Though he uploaded pictures of him in what appears to be a hospital bed, he did clarify that he was okay.

Feldman then went on to tweet that the LAPD were investigating the attack as an “attempted homicide” and said he was targeted by the “wolfpack,” insinuating that this was due to him speaking out against alleged pedophiles within Hollywood.

However, LAPD denied to Fox News that a laceration occurred. Officer Luis Garcia told Fox that Feldman claimed an unknown male made a stabbing motion at his stomach whilst his car was stopped at an intersection, but the assailant ran away. Feldman then drove himself to the hospital.

Garcia is quoted as saying, “Upon the investigation [it was] determined there were no lacerations to his abdomen,” and that Feldman could not describe his supposed attacker or weapon used to the police.

Feldman has since spoken to TMZ, saying he believes he was stabbed by either the tip of a knife or a syringe as the puncture was small and drew only a little bit of blood. Regardless, he took himself to the hospital due to concern for his health and had a visit and debrief from the police then. Feldman said that the man who assaulted him had been following his car from the freeway with three other men. When he stopped at the traffic lights, the man pulled up to his driver’s side door. Feldman recalls:

“All of a sudden, somebody gets out of the passenger’s side when they’re right next to me, he comes over, I lock my door and the door is locked. He goes to pull the handle, it doesn’t work. And then all of a sudden, I don’t know what he did, but he pulls it again with extra strength and the door flies open and he just lunges in. He’s got a weapon in his hand, he stabs at me one time.

He got one stab in, that was it. And it was a very small punctuation. It was like a dot. It was bleeding, but it was like a dot. So I don’t know if he just got me with just the tip of the knife, or if he got me with a syringe. That’s the part we don’t know.”

He repeated the story to Access last week, reiterating that the car door was locked. He said he believes he may have been poisoned and could only have a few months to live.

Feldman has faced much derision on Twitter over the alleged attack, with many claiming that he faked it, though some users came to his defense.

Feldman has publicly spoken out against alleged child abuse within the film industry, stating that he was molested when he was an 80s child star. In order to speak out safely, Feldman has organized an Indiegogo campaign to receive donations from the public to pay for his security.

Feldman said back in October:

“Ever since I discussed the fact that I have this plan, my life has turned to utter chaos. I’ve been silenced my whole life, but just over the past few days since I made that announcement, I’ve been arrested, I had a near-death experience last night where I felt like I was almost going to be killed. Two trucks came speeding at me at the same time on a crosswalk.

I’m very alone. I need to protect myself and I need to protect my family. I need additional security and I need a legal team to help represent me so that I can fulfill this mission.”

Last week Feldman was tweeting about promotional events for his latest film Corbin Nash, when one fan commented that his spate of appearances was unusual for someone who believed they had been targeted. The fan said:

“That’s a lot of appearances for a guy who said he thinks he was poisoned and only has 2 months to live.”

To which Feldman shot back:

“Should I stay locked inside withering away, in fear that the 10% chance I was poisoned comes true? That sounds like they won. I would never go down like that! I’ll keep standing TALL, & keep on fighting the good fight, until the bitter end, which hopefully will b decades away!”

Tune in next week for another episode of the misadventures of Corey Feldman.
