An eyewitness in Tuesday’s mass shooting at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno told reporters that he wishes he had been armed when the shooter opened fire at the campus.
Police sources say the female shooter, now identified in the news as 39-year-old Nasim Aghdam, fired dozens of times using a 9mm handgun. She took her own life after injuring three people, who are expected to recover from their wounds.
“I didn’t have a gun on me, but wish I did,” said the eyewitness, who told Fox News that he was buying food from across the San Bruno site when the shooting started. “I knew I had to be smart. You’ve got to be fast. You’ve got to think fast,” he said in a video first uploaded by Zero Hedge.

Although details remain tentative at this time, police confirmed that the shooter was not a YouTube employee.
Conflicting details suggest that Aghdam may have been inspired to carry out the mass shooting over YouTube’s demonetization and censorship policies, but the validity of these claims remains the subject of speculation due to conflicting details that suggest the shooter was involved in a domestic dispute with a man who was present at a YouTube company party.
