The geniuses at John Podesta’s left-wing blog ThinkProgress spent hours late last week combing through DANGEROUS’s online boutique and, seeing that many products are listed as “out of stock,” falsely claimed the store had gone out of business.
When asked about ThinkProgress’s intrepid journalism, a MILO, Inc representative laughed, saying the company was hard at work on an new product line that will be released later this year along with a completely redesigned website and store.
“But thanks for the free publicity,” MILO Inc’s spokesperson, Sofonda Cox, said. “Of course, this embarrassing error from the left’s hungry tigers could have been avoided with the use of a little-known journalistic strategy called ‘requesting comment.’”
According to ThinkProgress’s Casey Michel:
“A few months ago, following ThinkProgress’ reporting about Yiannopoulos trying to profit off the latest white nationalist meme, Shopify cut ties with Yiannopoulos’ prior online store. The move effectively ended what appeared to be Yiannopoulos’ sole source of income,” referring to the highly popular (and very upsetting to Leftists) ‘It’s OK to be White’ meme that swept college campuses and social media last year.
The fake news reporter also took to Twitter to claim the boutique was “by all accounts [MILO’s] last source of income.”
After Shopify received massive online backlash for bowing to the leftwing hate blog last year and cutting ties with MILO, Inc we immediately found another service to host the boutique with minimal interruption to sales.
“These people would love to believe their misguided and slanderous reporting has the ability to shut us down. We’ll be sure to send Michel a gift box of all our fabulous new products when the new line is for sale, as thanks for his continued efforts to publicize our operation. Rumors that ThinkProgress is secretly getting checks from our advertising department are unfounded, I promise,” Cox said.
