WATCH: Witches, Devil-Worshipers, & Gender Studies Professors. MILO Breaks Down the Rise of Occultism on the Left

Liberals need answers, and lately they’re turning to witchcraft and Satanism.

Are panic, desperation, and the decline of Christianity to blame? MILO thinks so, among other things.

“When you remove from public life the organizing principle of society or people’s inner emotional lives […] it doesn’t just go away. You don’t magically replace society with this atheist utopia of pure rationalities, according to them,” MILO says. “What you actually do is create a hole, in people’s imaginations, in people’s souls.”

This has far reaching implications, particularly in academia.

Perhaps it’s time for a sequel to Peikoff’s The Ominous Parallels.

    Woo hoo witchy woman
    See how high she flies
    Woo hoo witchy woman
She got the moon in her eye

Well, I know you want a lover,
    Let me tell you, brother,
She’s been sleeping in the Devil’s bed.

Most New Age beliefs are in some way rebelling against the Bible. It’s mostly about believing in yourself – a kind of soft-satanism…

Isn’t it a sign of being spoiled? We live in the most affluent and secure society in history. As infants, all of our needs were met proactively. Is it any wonder some people expect all their wishes to be magically fulfilled?

      I like this quote…

“Reassuring religion, insofar as it exists, is not found in places where life is significantly dangerous or unpleasant; quite the opposite. One of the few religious systems obviously designed to provide a comforting worldview is New Age mysticism. It says that people, ALL people, have enormous “power,” that all sorts of intellectual and physical feats are within their reach. It claims that we are all connected to mysterious but basically benevolent forces in the universe. Good health can be secured by inner spiritual strength. Human nature is fundamentally good. Most of us lived very interesting lives before this one. Note that these reassuring, ego-boosting notions appeared and spread in one of the most secure and affluent society’s in history. People who hold these beliefs are not faced with war, famine, infant mortality, incurable endemic diseases and arbitrary oppression to the same extent as middle-age Europeans or present day Third World peasants.”
