A bearded loon in New York jumped onto the tracks of a busy subway station Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM to scream at straphangers and MTA employees about ‘social justice.’
The unidentified man in a beanie and striped sweater then taunted New Yorkers at the 42nd Street B and D line platform by licking his finger and threatening to touch the electrified third rail, reports the New York Post.
“People were mostly pleading with him: ‘Just come up, come up,’” one bystander reporter. “Whatever he did, he kept on mentioning different social issues — women’s rights and racial stuff.”
The man also reportedly threatened to kill himself over what he called unfair treatment of women.
A Brooklyn bound train, alerted in advance about the triggered traveler, stopped just at the entrance to the station as the man continued his tirade, before leaping out of the track bed and walking away.
