GELLER: Barbie and Glamour Magazine Now Waging Cultural Jihad Against The West

The cultural jihad, which involves the norming of Islamization, is picking up speed. Last week, two icons of American popular culture, Barbie and Glamour magazine, joined the jihad.

When I was young, Barbie represented the Western female ideal. She was an astronaut, doctor, lawyer, veterinarian, scientist, teacher — she was young, beautiful and free. I imagined my life through her while whipping her around in her Austin Healey pulling up to her Barbie dream house.

Oh, how the mighty and iconic have fallen.

The new Barbie is modeled after a failed American Olympian, Ibtihaj Muhammad, whose only claim to fame is she wears a hijab. What next? Barbie sex slave? Barbie child bride? Clit cut Barbie?

Where is Hindu Barbie? Buddhist Barbie? Jewish Barbie (actually, Barbie was invented by a Jewish woman)? Bahai Barbie? Zoroastrian Barbie? Church of Scientology Barbie?

Why Muslim Barbie?

And this isn’t even the first attempt to produce a Muslim Barbie. Last March, a Barbie-compatible hijab called “Hello Hijab” was presented by the co-founders of the For Good project, Gisele Fetterman and Christine Michaels, in Braddock, Pennsylvania. These women said that this project would help raise a “kinder generation.” Perhaps they were confusing kindness with submission, subjugation and inferiority. Docile and obedient.

Hello hijab, goodbye freedom.

The idea that misogynistic Islamic garb would raise a “kinder generation” of girls is patently absurd. The Islamic head covering is an icon of feminine shame. The silly women who created this “accessory” said that there was a need for a project like this for education. They said that people weren’t “familiar with so much of it” – that is, with Islam.

Indeed, education is desperately needed, as evidenced by these women’s ignorance. The hijab is a garment of suppression and oppression of women all over the world.

The hijab, the niqab and the burqa are the symbols of Islamic misogyny and manifestations of a culture that considers violence against women acceptable — the Koran even says to beat women from whom a man may “fear disobedience” (4:34).

Yet Barbie was not the only Western cultural icon to join in aiding, abetting, and norming this Islamic misogyny. When Glamour magazine named pro-sharia, pro-terror antisemite Linda Sarsour one of the magazine’s “women of the year,” it was a turning point for the left, a point of no return. Sarsour was a leader of the Women’s March after President Trump was inaugurated — a woman wearing the hijab, which girls have been beaten and killed for not wearing, stood as a feminist leader.

She was chosen by CUNY to give the keynote speech at the university’s commencement ceremonies, and CUNY stuck to its guns despite the massive protest I led against their choice in Manhattan, and many other calls for them not to honor this savage. Sarsour called for jihad against President Trump. She has called for former Muslim activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s vagina to be removed, and says Hirsi Ali needs an “ass whippin’.” She has said that nothing is creepier than Zionism and that Jewish women can’t be feminists. She is a fraudster.

Glamour and Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, longtime standard-bearers of fashion and beauty, have all but submitted. Like the Muslim mother holding down her young daughter for the ritual cut (female genital mutilation), the icons of beauty are now telling women that subjugation, gender apartheid, creed apartheid, honor violence, arranged (forced) marriage (Sarsour’s marriage was arranged), and Jew-hatred is the new radical chic.

We have now entered the era in which good is evil and evil is good — ugly is now beautiful.

What has Sarsour done for Muslim women living under the boot of sharia? What has Sarsour done for Muslims girls here in America who don’t want to wear the hijab, but live under constant threat from her family that insists she does?

It is incredible that Glamour would honor a woman as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside.

Sarsour says, “I believe wholeheartedly that we must fight injustice and inequality.” So why doesn’t she fight creed apartheid, gender apartheid, Islamic Jew-hatred, misogyny, honor killings, sanctioned wife-beating, forced marriage, or child marriage? It’s all part of sharia governance and mores. Why hasn’t Sarsour stood up for victims of honor violence, or planted a grove of trees in their memory, as my organization did?

The only thing uglier than Sarsour’s Glamour dress is the misogynist burka.

While all this is going on, I have been standing for Muslim girls and women for years: offering safe houses for girls in danger of Islamic honor killing, and fighting against female genital mutilation, as well as for the right of women not to wear the hijab. For standing for individual rights, I’ve been shunned and vilified by the feminist movement that is eagerly embracing Sarsour and the hijab.

It’s what the left does to anyone who stands in the way of the Islamic agenda. It’s all in my new book, FATWA: Hunted in America. Get the book, buy it for friends. Educate those around you.
