In an effort to halt the construction of President Trump’s proposed $20 billion border wall, the company behind the popular party game Cards Against Humanity (CAH) purchased land across the U.S.-Mexico border.
In an announcement released Wednesday on its website, CAH announced it has purchased “a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built.”
The announcement was released in conjunction with a holiday promotion called “Cards Against Humanity Saves America.”
The promotion promises to “send six America-saving surprises” to people who pay CAH $15. The promotion, which has already ended due to the “surprises” selling out, promises “It will be fun, it will be weird, and if you voted for Trump, you might want to sit this one out.”
Participants of the promotion will “get an illustrated map of the land, a certificate of our promise to fight the wall, some new cards, and a few other surprises,” the website states.
After calling the President a “preposterous golem who is afraid of Mexicans,” CAH claims it is saving America from “Injustice, lies, racism, the whole enchilada” – an unexpectedly racist and culturally appropriative remark for a virtue-signal of this magnitude.
Continuing the heavy anti-Trump sentiment, the website calls the President a liar in its FAQ section before explaining the company would “like to cancel the 2016 election.”
CAH promises the “surprises” will not contain “sexual content, graphic violence, or footage of Donald Trump watching Russian prostitutes urinate on a bed Obama slept in,” however, they will contain “naughty words.”
Fox Business reports Mary Ann Mendoza, the mother of a police officer who died as a direct result of an illegal immigrant who was “three times the legal limit drunk and high on meth,” lambasted CAH and its attempt to obstruct the border wall.
“Cards Against Humanity thinks that it’s just a fun thing to do something like this,” she told Fox Business. “Take your distaste and your dislike of our president and use it in a different way. Don’t use it against your fellow Americans. Because not having a secure border is causing thousands of problems daily and affecting people’s lives.”
According to Mendoza, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza was killed “on May 12, 2014, in a violent head-on collision” with an illegal immigrant who drove “35 MILES the wrong way on 4 different freeways,” before hitting her son’s car.
“Hundreds of thousands of their fellow Americans are affected by illegal crime on a yearly basis. If one of their family members were affected like some of ours have been — killed, assaulted, what not — I think they would understand the issue a little better,” she told Fox Business.
It seems Cards Against Humanity is living up to its name.
