Jordan Peterson Plans To Call Out Neo-Marxist University Classes As ‘Indoctrination Cults’

Psychology professor Jordan Peterson’s announced plan to create a website to inform college students and their parents about “indoctrination cults” in university classes has drawn rebuke from other teachers at the University of Toronto.

His colleagues claim that the website will turn them into targets of harassment.

“As a science professor, I’m not specifically targeted, but I still believe this website is morally wrong,” said” U of T physics professor A.W. Peet in an interview, per CBC. “A number of students and faculty members who I’m in correspondence with are concerned about his plans.”

Peterson rose to fame in conservative circles after his refusal to use gender-neutral pronouns like “xe/xir” became the subject of widespread controversy as special snowflake students on campus verbally assaulted him over his views and called for him to be reprimanded by the University of Toronto. Peterson argued that forcing others to use gender-neutral pronouns as a matter of law was an infringement on personal freedoms in Canada.

The psychology professor intends to use machine learning and artificial intelligence to sift through university curricula for “post-modern neo-Marxist course content”—a legitimate concern that many have over social science, English, and liberal arts classes.

“We’re going to start with a website in the next month and a half that will be designed to help students and parents identify post-modern content in courses so that they can avoid them,” announced Peterson on CTV’s Your Morning in August.

“I’m hoping that over about a five-year period a concerted effort could be made to knock the enrollment down in postmodern neo-Marxist cult classes by 75 per cent across the West. So our plan initially is to cut off the supply to the people that are running the indoctrination cults.”

“Women’s studies, and all the ethnic studies and racial studies groups, man, those things have to go and the faster they go the better,” he said. “It would have been better if they had never been part of the university to begin with as far as I can tell.”

“Sociology, that’s corrupt. Anthropology, that’s corrupt. English literature, that’s corrupt. Maybe the worst offenders are the faculties of education,” added Peterson.

His proposal has not gone over well with his colleagues, who argue that he is proposing a form of “surveillance” on “certain kinds of academic content.”

According to the CBC, the senior faculty of U of T’s Women’s and Gender Studies Institute lodged their concerns with the university administration over the site, which they claim “presents a serious case of harassment, fostering unsafe work and study conditions for students, faculty and staff.”

The organization is “strongly requesting” that the university act to suppress the website before it has a chance to launch.

U of T spokeswoman Althea Blackburn-Evans confirmed the complaint and told CBC that they are meeting with faculty to address those concerns.

The poor snowflake professors can rest assured that it is the leftist, Marxist, snowflake cohort who does pretty much all the harassing.

Why aren’t they expressing any concern that Prof. Peterson will be targeted?

Cult indoctrination is anti education and people deserve to be informed of University indoctrination programs.

If people knew what these professors were selling, they wouldn’t buy it…

So now the professors are screaming harassment, because people might choose not to take their garbage courses. You can’t make this stuff up. Here’s a thought- teach things that are actually useful!

social science and humanities classes are the worst offenders. Peterson is doing a great service to humankind with this. The folks whining about this are clearly ignorant of the danger neo-marxist postmodernist thinking/indoctrination presents – sadly, many who consider themselves ‘educated’ are failing students miserably.

The ones whining the most those who are running the indoctrination programs.

Education classes are by far the biggest joke. I took an education class, and it was complete nonsense! I learned nothing and got an “A” without doing much of anything other than pretending to agree with the bullshit I was hearing.

The sad thing is that people with Master’s degrees and even doctorates in education think that they know something. Then they become principals and superintendents and want to act like they are experts. Sorry education majors.

Brilliant idea to sift through curricula using machine learning. Only wish I’d have thought of it first. These clowns have to keep everything hush-hush because none of their ideas stand up to debate out in the sunlight.

The real solution is to ban humanities from the universities. They should be scientific and technical fields, fields that build their case with real evidence, not reading-clubs that regurgitate the opinions and feelings of professors to pass.

The real solution is to actually teach humanities at the universities, as that was a large part of what they were actually supposed to be there for. What they’re teaching are not the humanities, they’re Marxist indoctrination- where the actual humanities, from before progressives and postmodernists killed them, were useful at making for more rounded and more moral citizens.

There should also be technical schools and such, but that isn’t really what education was supposed to be- in the classical system it was about widening people’s minds and teaching them good values and about the history and evolution of culture and philosophy that led to the acceptance of those values and why they are good, not just to teach what is profitable so they can perform as cogs: and it’s the shift in focus to that which has allowed people to be indoctrinated into these cults, as they lack the grounding in the classical system to argue against them.

But it’s okay to point to the SPLC as the exemplar of all hate related groups…

    So this should be fine.

I could consider going back to college and enrolling in any and all of Peterson’s classes. Of course if the DEMAND for his classes rise, that gives him more clout, too.

Despite the aesthetic that Jordan Peterson is a lone wolf, he really isn’t. When I went to U of T, almost all of the Math and Science department agrees with him. It’s just that these profs and students have actual work to do. They don’t have time to enter frivolous political debates with faculty and students who have little to no work and who probably get extra credit for charging SJW causes. Jordan Peterson is only an exception because he doesn’t have the political apathy that most of the math and science professors have.
