Invasion Of Spacey: 11 New Allegations Including More Attempted Child Rape and ‘House Of Cards’ Employees Speak Out

Eight people who worked on the Netflix hit show have come forward to accuse Spacey of creating a “toxic” work environment that was rife with sexual harassment.

Breitbart News reports the eight people requested to remain anonymous when they talked to CNN about the alleged “predatory” behavior, which included nonconsensual touching and vulgar comments, Spacey exhibited towards young, male production staffers.

Breitbart News also reports a man has come forward claiming to have been engaged in an ongoing sexual relationship with Spacey when he was just 14 years old and the now mega-star was 24. When the man, who has kept his identity anonymous, was 15 he claims Spacey attempted to rape him.

“I always have said, ‘He tried to rape me,’” the man told Vulture. “I told him I didn’t want that, he went again to do it, I told him no, he went again and pushed harder and grabbed me and pushed harder. I don’t know how I would see that as anything besides an attempted rape, which I was able to thwart.”

The man went on to say as he got older, he realized Spacey was a “sexual predator” and a “pedophile.”

One former production assistant on House of Cards has alleged Spacey sexually assaulted him as they traveled to the show’s set 30 miles away from Baltimore.

According to the assistant, he was assigned to pick up Spacey from an offsite location to drive him to the set.

Spacey allegedly forced his hands down the production assistant’s pants while he was driving.

“I was in a state of shock,” the former assistant explained. “He was a man in a very powerful position on the show and I was someone very low on the totem pole and on the food chain there.”

Once on set, the assistant said he took Spacey’s belongings to his trailer when the actor allegedly cornered him and made inappropriate contact.

“I told him, ‘I don’t think I’m ok with this, I don’t think I’m comfortable with this,’” the assistant said, adding Spacey became “visibly flustered” and fled.

“I have no doubt that this type of predatory behavior was routine for him and that my experience was one of many and that Kevin had few if any qualms about exploiting his status and position,” the assistant continued. “It was a toxic environment for young men who had to interact with him at all in the crew, cast, background actors.”

Another member of the production crew alleged Spacey “would put his hands on” him “in weird ways” and “massage his shoulders from behind” without consent.

Recent reports are suggesting Spacey is also being investigated by the British police in connection with a 2008 sexual assault in London.

“On 1 November, City of London police referred an allegation of sexual assault to the Metropolitan police service,” a spokesman for Scotland Yard said on Friday. “It is alleged a man assaulted another man in 2008 in Lambeth. Officers from the child abuse and sexual offenses command are investigating.”

According to the Guardian, the Metropolitan Police Force declined to confirm the identity of the perpetrator, however, it is believed to be Spacey.

A spokesman for the Met said there was no record of an arrest made in connection with the investigation, despite a recent report from the Sun suggesting the complainant had been interviewed by police.

The man, now 32-years-old, alleged that Spacey sexually abused him after he passed out in the actors home.

According to the Sun the man, who at the time was 23, shared a drink with Spacey, hoping the actor would help him with his career. However, the man claims to have woken up to Spacey performing a sexual act on him.

The man told Spacey to stop and promptly left the house after he was warned to keep quiet about the incident.

Filmmaker and director Tony Montana also came forward, accusing Spacey of grabbing his “whole package,” in 2003.

Montana, who was in his 30s at the time of the alleged incident, told Radar Online Spacey approached him as he was editing a documentary at Coronet Pub in Los Angeles.

“I went up to order a drink and Kevin came up to me and put his arm around me,” Montana claimed. “He was telling me to come with him, to leave the bar. He put his hand on my crotch forcefully and grabbed my whole package.” Spacey then told him, “this designates ownership.”

“I put my hand down and turned his thumb back to get his hand off it,” he continued. “I paid for my drink and got away from him.”

According to Montana, Spacey followed him into the restroom later in the evening.

“I backed him out the door and I pushed him,” the filmmaker claimed. “One of his friends was in line and I said, ‘It’s time to take your boy home.’ They all ended up leaving.”

“I never talked to anyone about it except for therapists,” Montana said. “I had PTSD for six months after. It was an emasculating thing for someone to do to me. Whenever I went to the bar I would see if he was there or have my back against the wall.”

“This wasn’t something people were talking about openly,” Montana said, explaining that Rapp’s allegations gave him the confidence to come forward. “It still feels awkward. I still feel what I felt then. I put it into the back of my mind until I saw him come forward. When you’re trying to accomplish something in the industry, you have things that inspire you, that can help move you forward. You have setbacks and haunted experiences. No matter what happens you have to keep going.”

Netflix and production company Media Rights Capital (MRC) have announced that production of “House of Cards” will be suspended indefinitely following the growing number of allegations against Spacey.

“Netflix was just made aware of one incident, five years ago, that we were informed was resolved swiftly,” Netflix said in an updated statement on Thursday. “On Tuesday, in collaboration with MRC, we suspended production, knowing that Kevin Spacey wasn’t scheduled to work until Wednesday.”

MRC also responded to the recent allegations by making available “an anonymous complaint hotline, crisis counselors, and sexual harassment legal advisors for the crew.”

MRC also told Deadline that Spacey’s alleged behavior on set was investigated during the first year of the show in 2012 due to a complaint made by a crew member.

The crew member filed the complaint with human resources, claiming Spacey made a specific gesture and remark towards him. Spacey went through “training” for his alleged behavior.

The term pedophilia, used in the article, is incorrect. Pedophiles engage small children before they have reached sexual maturity. After they have reached sexual maturity, they are guilty of either rape or inappropriate sexual contact with a minor, but that does not make them pedophiles.

        Pedophiles go after prepubescent children.
        There’s a difference.

This is important, especially if you read Milo’s book “Dangerous.” He discusses this issue at the very beginning.
Equating the exploitation or assault of sexually mature teenagers with “pedophilia” creates cognitive dissonance and makes everyone who ever saw a Calvin Klein ad and thought, “damn” feel like they belong in the same category as someone who is attracted to pre-pubescent children.

I bought Dangerous but I haven’t read it yet. It sounds like it’s time to dig in to it after I finish my current book. Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

Ephebophilia, pedophilia… The power, maturity and age differential is what really matters. We seat here splitting hairs as if a 15 year old is more capable of processing sexual innuendos from an adult than a 13 year old.

It’s more like comparing a 15 year old with a 10 year old.
      Post-pubescent vs prepubescent.

Of course, the younger the worse. But pedophilia goes until the victim is 14. My point is, it is inherently awful.
