ISIS Claims Responsibility For Deadliest Mass Shooting In US History

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the deaths of more than 50 people after a gunman opened fire at a country music concert outside the Mandalay Bay casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sunday evening.

As well as the fifty-plus people that have been confirmed dead, more than 400 people have been injured in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Breitbart reports the suspect, named as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, has been confirmed dead by Joseph Lombardo, the sheriff of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Paddock reportedly converted to Islam “months ago,” according to the Islamic State’s Amaq news agency.

“He has no political affiliation, no religious affiliation, as far as we know,” Eric Paddock, the shooters brother, told The Daily Mail before ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. “Our condolences go to the victims and all their families.”

Eric said there was “absolutely no indication he could do something like this.”

“I can’t imagine. When you guys find out why this happened, let us know. I have no idea whatsoever,” he told the Orlando Sentinel newspaper.

USA Today reports law enforcement found a “cache of weapons” inside Paddock’s hotel room.

“We’ve located numerous firearms within the room that he occupied,” Lombardo said. “We have no idea what his belief system was. Right now, we believe he was the sole aggressor and the scene is static.”

Although it is unconfirmed, one picture from Fox News’ Adam Housley suggests the possibility of multiple shooters.

According to reports, Paddock committed suicide in his room before law enforcement entered.

Marilou Danley, the roommate of Paddock, is no longer being called a person of interest. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department does not believe she was involved with the shooting.

Officers confronted Paddock on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, just across the street from the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival.

According to witness reports, he used an automatic weapon to fire at the crowd.

“There was blood everywhere,” one witness said.

“People were hit within 20 feet of us,” another witness, Rick Messick, who was in the front row of the concert, told CBS2. “There were several people laying in the parking lot … they were trying to stop the bleeding.”

“There were armored personnel vehicles, SWAT vehicles, ambulances, and at least a half-mile of police cars,” Las Vegas resident Jose Baggett, who was in the lobby of the Luxor hotel-casino just north of the festival, told AP.

“It was bad, there were multiple people hit, a lot of people shot,” a former marine who was working as a security guard at the festival told Fox News. “The area that we had for medics at the event was completely flooded with people. I myself, with other people, carried at least four or five people to the EMT area.”

“There was two people that I know for sure were trampled. One gentleman was shot in the top of the head, another was shot in the leg, a lady was shot in her side,” he said. “Another lady that caught a round to the side of the head, it was an ugly scene.”

Jason Aldean, who was performing onstage when the shooting began, released a statement via Instagram:

Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still dont know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe. My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken #stopthehate

First Lady Ivanka Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and President Trump have commented on the horrific attack via Twitter.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders also issued a statement:

The President has been briefed on the horrific tragedy in Las Vegas. We are monitoring the situation closely and offer our full support to state and local officials. All of those affected are in our thoughts and prayers.

Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo confirmed that two off-duty police officers were killed in the attack. A third off-duty officer is currently in critical condition and a fourth was wounded.

The hashtag “#guncontrol” is already trending on Twitter, however, reports suggest the weapon used by Paddock was illegal.

    Absolutely horrifically evil.

ISIS has been claiming Las Vegas as a target for some time. The girlfriend looks Philippina – a place, for years, riddled w/Islamic terror. It wouldn’t be the first ISIS bride instigated jihad to take place ( San Bernardino and the Jihadist mother of the Boston bombers, to name only 2 examples) Where is she?

Of course, speculating, but where’d he get the major league cache of guns?

He had a lot of money.

Well, upper middle class income. But as a gambler, income is not a constant
Learned his father was a psychopathic escaped felon on the FBIs most wanted list
Kind of odd the brother never mentioned that little fact. I can tell you that I have way more connection w my siblings than these brothers did.

I’ve revised my guess: gambling addict/alcoholic w his father’s sickness. who knows who he was enacting his vengeance upon. Happy people?

I’ll be waiting w everyone else to learn more as this unfolds.

Last night I was wondering if the name of the hotel (Mandalay) had any weird significance for him? Mandalay is in Burma .. the woman that the FBI oddly insists is not of interest looks Philippina to me .. but could be Burmese .. haven’t yet read the news this morning. Maybe some q’s will be answered.

I’ve been hearing people say this, but are we sure this scumbag was a Muslim? There’s still so little information about this guy.

His family said he had no religious affiliation.

My guts says he’ll turn out to be a radical leftist, not Muslim.

You could be right. But, I’m betting on psychopath gambling addict with a lot of debt who decided to “go out big.”

          October 2, 2017 at 5:03 pm

He owned 3 homes, 2 airplanes, and about 20 guns. How much gambling debt could he have been in to feel it necessary to put together such a crazed plot?

If it’s not politically motivated, then I’d bet his girlfriend being in the Philippines has something to do with it. Maybe they split up and he couldn’t deal with it.

Yes, I get that he had all of those things. But, if he’s a psychopath how does he react to the potential of losing them. And, if it isn’t banks he owes money, I’m guessing no grace periods.

But, who knows, maybe we’ll find out you are right about the girlfriend. It’s kind of frustrating not knowing.

He certainly doesn’t fit any of the usual profiles for mass murderers.

It’s possible he’s a paranoid schizophrenic, and acted out of his madness. There may be no logical rationale at all for this.

It’s because ISIL announced he was one of theirs, not just because someone made it up. Although ISIL could have made it up of course.

I, personally, don’t think ISIS was involved. They’d claim credit for my kid’s spilled Koolaide if it got them publicity and the ability to invoke fear. The guy was a 64 year old gambling addict. Normal people don’t move away from their family to be closer to where they can gamble. Who knows who he owed money too.

And who is “they?” Who calls up whom? Is there an official ISIS website that Go Daddy allows to continue? Do they have John McCain’s cell phone number? He is friends with a lot of them…
      How does this happen???

Maybe ISIS has started to claim attacks that they didn’t cause; we don’t know that yet. However, I didn’t know the President’s daughter Ivanka was the First Lady. Was that a mistake or a misnark?

Hey smart Milo people. Search up “Las Vegas” and “Crisis Actors.” Watch especially the “brother.” He went to the Wayne Carver school of acting. I’m not saying nothing happened, but there are some actors pretending to be witnesses on the scene, either cause it’s fake or to lay down false trails for real researchers. Watch these people tell conflicting stories, smile and laugh, and struggle to make their eyes water up as they make sobbing sounds. Notice there are NO videos of actual carnage, just people running or lying around maybe with a little fake blood. Nobody had cell phone cameras at the scene?

    PS “ISIS claimed responsibility.” ???
Who calls up and says “I represent ISIS” and is believed? Is there a hotline?
By whom are they believed? Why should we believe that entity? Is in an untraceable secure phone from ISIS to the pentagon that we have set up? It could certainly be traced? Or not?
Come on people… THINK! We are being played.
