Australia Bans Construction Of Jewish Synagogue Over Fears Of Islamic Terror

Local authorities in Bondi – a suburb outside of Sydney, Australia – have banned the construction of a Jewish synagogue over fears that it may become a target for Islamic terrorism.

According to News.com.au, the synagogue in question was to be built “just a few hundred meters from Australia’s most famous beach.”

Both the Waverly Council and the Land and Environment Court apparently deduced that crowded area + Jews = Islamic terror and, as a result, have prohibited the synagogue’s construction.

“Jewish leaders are shocked the decision appears to suggest they cannot freely practice their religion because they are the target of hate by Islamic extremists,” News.com.au reports.

The outlet goes on to quote Rabbi Yehoram Ulman as stating, “this decision is unprecedented.”

“Its implications are enormous. It basically implies that no Jewish organization should be allowed to exist in residential areas. It stands to stifle Jewish existence and activity in Sydney and indeed, by creating a precedent, the whole of Australia, and by extension rewarding terrorism.”

North South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies chief executive Vic Alhadeff, meanwhile, is quoted as stating, “it’s a very sad day for Australia if an established community, which needs a house of worship, is refused permission to build it because of fear that others may pose a threat.”

“This simply shows how we’re all losing our freedoms. Those who want us to be afraid are winning, and this ill-conceived judgement represents a dangerous precedent.”

According to News.com.au, the proposed outfitting of the synagogue with setback buildings and blast walls as anti-terrorism measures actually helped convince local authorities that construction should not move forward.

“The proposed development should be refused as the site is not suitable for the proposed synagogue use as the Preliminary Threat and Risk Analysis relied on by the Applicant raises concerns as to the safety and security of future users of the synagogue, nearby residents, motorists and pedestrians in Wellington Street and the physical measures proposed to deal with the identified threats will have an unacceptable impact on the streetscape and adjoining properties,” Waverly Council’s ruling is quoted as stating.

News of the ruling is not sitting well with a number of internet users.

Why should the Jews be punished and not the terrorists?

Because nasty inbred muslims are more oppressed than others apparently.
Even when they’re cutting people’s heads off, blowing shit up, raping, stealing and murdering. Ever the victim.
And if you disagree, you’re a racist and a bigot.

That’s the modern-day antisemitism. It’s disgusting how these people can get away with it without any punishment or consequences. In Europe it’s even worse. Germans let the Muslims in so they can continue the dirty deed of the “Nazis”. Jews in Germany are harassed and many are forced to leave, though there are not many left. It’s all done under the pretense of multiculturalism, however multiculturalism NEVER INCLUDES THE JEWS. I hope the world wakes up to what’s going on. Antisemitism has to stop. I personally hate Muslims (period). They killed my friends at 9/11, and I’m gay, they kill our gay friends non-stop. They are bastards. They are not peaceful.

The sad truth is the Muslims we see are being encouraged and rewarded for their despicable behavior while the Muslims that want reform are being suppressed and live in fear.

Multicuturalism only really means accommodating psychotic muslims. Everybody else just gets on with their lives, jobs and families.

Bingo! The blatant ant semitism should be enormously unsettling.
      I wonder if that’s the point…

It’s a fair point that German leaders KNOW the threat that Muslims are to Jews.
      They. Just. Don’t. Care.

This will be used in future as excuse to ban churches, bars and anything else the tolerant muslims don’t like.

    So what, the criminals win?
You can’t control the thief, so you get rid of banks?

    • Trump was right.
    • The only answer is: disallow Muslims from immigrating. Period.

    Lovely. Let’s also ban:
    – girls in bikinis
    – gays, lesbians and trans people
    – Sikh, Hindu and Buddhist temples
    – churches
    – bars
    – music
    – any book or pamphlet critical of Islam
    – universities (critical thinking is haram in the ‘slam).
Anything to please the rats, eh? Onwards and upwards into the gloriously “diverse” future!

Well no not quite. “Australia” has not banned the construction of the synagogue. It is a local council that has refused to approve it. Big difference. That said…it is utterly ridiculous, pathetic stupid doltish & every other negative word possible. Embarrassing as an Aussie to see this crap making news around the world

So lets get some perspective here.

This would be the same Vic Alhadeff that wants to ban his ‘defined’ version of “Hate Speech” in Australia, which in the USA , is protected under the First Amendment.

This is the same Vic Alhadeff that wants to prosecute anybody under Australia’s dreaded Section 18 hate speech laws, that would criticise “white” Australians for their opposition to those cultures that don’t assimilate and who aren’t “white”, and who don’t share the local “white” Australian cultural values, according to Vic Alhadeff.

From my recall of recent history, this is pretty much the same argument that the likes of “Vic Alhadeff”, back in the day, and those apologists of the same ethnic group used to dissuaded the Good Keiser, Wilhelm II of Germany, during the period up until 1918, to prosecute the same arguments, in the name of cultural civility, less somebody would be offended.

The next twenty years, as Wilhelm II well predicted, turned to shyte.
The eventual rise of the Third Reich and all it’s attendant horrors was pretty much guaranteed.

Now the rather clueless apologist Vic Alhadeff has suddenly realised that the lack of the average Australians ability to criticise the most murderous sect in human history was his principally his own doing.

To put things into a more ironic perspective, the same persecutors, who wish his homeland removed from the face of the earth, are now those would also remove his proposed place of prayer from the face of the earth.

Now, if the average Australian could only call out the hypocrisy of this entire fiasco, without fear of prosecution under Australia’s dreaded Section 18 hate speech laws, there would not be a problem.

However, Australia’s dreaded Section 18 hate speech laws make it a criminal offence to criticise any aspect of anything, and truth, much less, fact, as has been well proven in previous prosecutions under these dreaded Section 18 hate speech laws, is no defence.

Cry me a river, Vic Alhadeff, then get off your soap box and defend free speech. Ugly as it is.

Then and only then, might you get some attention from the rest of those Conservative Australians that stated, a long time ago, “You will be sorry”, when you decided to squash free speech in the name of political ‘Social Activist’ convenience.

So, whose sorry now, you little grub?

    Hmm… it seems rather… Islamophobic!
Are they saying that Islamists are violent?
Do they still accept them as immigrants? Or is it only the bad Muslims they try to keep out?

As an Australian it was a city council decision. Yet with the recent plans by Islamist to blow up a commercial aircraft recently. This will not go down well with Australians. We will eventually have to ban muslims as they just too much trouble.

Now imagine outrage if they banned a mosque being built
