You sent a message to Barnes & Noble that it was time for them to stock DANGEROUS in store, and we’re happy to report that the message was received loud and clear!
Barnes & Noble will begin stocking DANGEROUS in the current affairs section of all of their 633 stores! Some locations will have copies by the end of this week, and the entire chain will have the book on shelves by the end of next week.
Thank you to MILO fans everywhere who made your simple desire to buy the best selling DANGEROUS in Barnes & Noble stores known to the company.
MILO commented on Barnes & Noble carrying DANGEROUS in store by saying, “I’m thrilled that Barnes & Noble listened to their customers — a lost art for many companies — and has taken immediate action to rectify the MILO-shaped hole in their beautiful and numerous bookstores. Although I think they’d be wise to shelve copies of DANGEROUS in the self-help, fitness, current affairs, religion, and last but certainly not least the fine art sections, I will accept current affairs — at least to start.”
In other DANGEROUS news, the book continues to fly off the shelves at an astonishing rate.
Sales grew 80% week over week based on Bookscan figures. DANGEROUS is the #1 hardcover nonfiction book according to Bookscan, however it is ranked #5 by the New York Times. Bookscan reports 18,678 copies of DANGEROUS were sold for the week, as compared to 12,737 copies of Devil’s Bargain, the Times #1 book. The nearly 6,000 book difference places the sales of the #5 book at approximately 50% higher than the #1 book.
