Report: Less Than 10% Of Democrats Employ Simple Measure To Reduce Fraudulent Donations

If you buy something online, there’s a good chance you’ll have to plug in a CVV code. The same can’t always be said if you want to donate money to a Democratic candidate.

Peter Schweizer, author of “Clinton Cash,” is no stranger to exposing some of the outrageous practices of the left. He just dropped another nugget during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show.

As Breitbart explains, Schweizer is concerned that “fraudulent hidden donations, even foreign donations” are “flowing into our campaigns.”

So why is he so worried about that? Turns out that Dems are getting awfully lax when it comes to requiring that little three-digit security code known as a CVV code for online donations.

He’s not just digging for straws either; a new report from the Government Accountability Institute “claims fewer than 10 percent of Democrats require” the code, according to Breitbart.

During his chat with Hannity, Schweizer explained that the issue first came to light during former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. He noted that “there were thousands of donations to the Obama campaign made with cash cards, meaning they could not be traced.”

That led to complaints and calls for changes, but it doesn’t sound like it’s getting any better. Schweizer notes that the concern is very real, as “we don’t know where the money is coming from.”

Hmmm. Why oh why wouldn’t Democrats want to be fully transparent about where all of that money is coming from? Could there be something nefarious going on here?

Sounds like a job for the Senate Intelligence Committee – after they wrap up all those super-important Russia meetings, that is.

Hear Schweizer’s full remarks to Hannity below.

Par for the course for Donkey-Ds. I’m pretty sure there will be several GOPees doing the same thing. Would be glad to be proven wrong. But will be skeptical before admitting it. Congress has a very low approval rating for a reason.

Honest business requires a ccv for security because the payer gets something of value in return. Heh.

Sure wish I knew how pervasive it was in the GOP so I could know whether they also deserve the public’s scorn. One-sided articles like this just seem like gasoline placed into an empty building in the hopes that many arsonists are among the passersby.

It is 91,3 % of republicans that use CVV for donations compared to 8,3 % of democrats. The article should state this, agreed. Athough you can see it in the video.
