ABC Roasted For Shamelessly Putting Russian Flag Behind Trump Tweet

ABC News is currently being roasted to high heaven for its shameless pairing of a tweet by President Donald Trump and a background resembling the Russian flag.

Jason Miller, who served as a communications strategist during Trump’s campaign and transition into the White House, made the observation, tweeting, “ABC just casually throwin’ a Russian flag behind a tweet from @POTUS.”

Here’s the Russian flag, for comparison.

While it’s unclear when ABC’s segment in question aired, judging by Miller’s screenshot it was sometime after Friday, when Sarah Huckabee Sanders was announced as the White House’s new Press Secretary following Sean Spicer’s resignation.

It’s not clear what that news has in common with Trump ‘unloading’ on Jeff Sessions and Mueller in a “bombshell interview” or President Donald Trump’s tweet about intelligence leaks.

The oddity of it all aside, it’s the Russian flag that has many people talking.

Why would you even ask that? Because of her comment? Jean happens to be a regular that comes out here like a lot of us do. She is no Democrat.

No I don’t this it is. I’ve followed ABC on network news and this was planned and I think It’s pretty damn low of them to do it. Stephanopoulos has been pushing this Russia thing from almost day one. He wants it to be true. I follow his show on ABC just to see what garbage he is spewing.

Jean was just talking about the colors when she made that comment “Good one though” and not that they put the Russia flag up. Not sure if Jean is a male or female but looks like the profile pic is of Milo.

They use the colors but I’ve never seen them use the pattern like in this article. George Stephanopoulos interviewed Sarah Huckabee Sanders this morning on his show and he tried everything to get her to say there was truth in the WaPo wrote again. He’s the one that will not let the Russia story die.

Can we talk about how the Democrats used images of the Russian fleet to underscore honoring US veterans at their convention in 2012?
Seems like a clear case of collusion to me.

Simple enough to check. Did they use that background anywhere else?
