Black unemployment is reportedly at its lowest rate since all the way back to 2000.
According to a U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report, the Trump administration is presiding over the lowest unemployment rate among African Americans in the last 17 years.
This great milestone for the black community and the Trump administration is accompanied by a falling unemployment rate among Americans of all races.
The national unemployment rate is at its lowest in over a decade as well. Under the Trump administration, the total unemployment rate in May was at 4.3% – its lowest since 2001.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics also released a graph showing the decline in the unemployment rate:
