Narrative Destroyed: ‘White Supremacist’ Portland Stabbing Suspect Is A Bernie Bro

Following news that a white supremacist has been accused of stabbing and killing several men who attempted to stop him from harassing Muslim women on a train, many have called for President Donald Trump to do something about the violence, with the implication being that the suspect is obviously one of his supporters.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations also joined in on the fun, demanding that Trump denounce “rising bigotry” against Muslims.

“President Trump must speak out personally against the rising tide of Islamophobia and other forms of bigotry and racism in our nation that he has provoked through his numerous statements, policies and appointments that have negatively impacted minority communities,” the organization said according to CNN.

Unfortunately for that narrative, Jeremy Christian is no Trump supporter.

In fact, when Christian brought his white nationalism to a free speech rally hosted by Trump supporters in April, they booted him out.

So who did Mr. Christian support?

Wait for it – Bernie.

Here are screenshots of posts Christian made on Facebook, as per Heavy.com.

This is the second time a Bernie supporter has been charged in connection with an alleged hate crime.

In March, former Intercept writer and Bernie voter Juan Thompson was arrested in connection with a series of bomb threats made against Jewish community centers.

Prior to Thompson’s arrest, many had blamed the string of threats on – yup, you guessed it – Trump supporters and demanded that the President disavow the actions.

Following news of Jeremy Christian’s political affiliation, many are reacting in a similar fashion to how conservatives responded to Thompson’s arrest; by pointing out the incredible hypocrisy of the left.

According to KGW, Jeremy Christian is currently facing charges of aggravated murder, attempted murder, intimidation in the second degree, and felony possession of a restricted weapon.

In another article, the outlet reports that two of Christian’s alleged victims died following the stabbing, which occurred on a train.

The third is reportedly expected to survive.

See the report below for more details on the horrific crime and its victims.

Trump is the President. That said, is he a war criminal for authorizing the Syrian invasion without a WAR declaration from Congress?

There was no “Syrian invasion”. There were missiles fired at a Syrian air base from which a chemical attack was carried out on Syrians by their government. The President can authorize the use of military force without a formal Declaration of War for up to 60 days. At that point Congress can either make a Declaration of War or not. If they don’t then the President has to cease all military action and withdraw American forces. Sorry sport but no “war crime” was committed.

Our Constitution requires it. The War Powers Act is a bad Act resting on the Constitutional principle of where the responsibility lies. That said, our public has been asleep for a long time on this, preferring to wave the flag in patriotic fervor then realizing and calling, demanding a correction of this error.

Are you high? The US has been in Syria for a while now, especially since Trump took office and formed the unofficial alliance with Assad and Russia to fight ISIS.
Second of all, why would a discussion about a war with Syria be good to have, Assad is a member of the Ba’ath party which is a secular party, if we went to war with Syria and Assad was replaced it would be by someone from an Islamic party, the US would be handing Syria over to ISIS and they wouldn’t have to lift a finger. Next on your list of crazy, I will pretend your serious about the depleted uranium rounds question and don’t know like most people that depleted uranium rounds have been used as tank ammunition by nations such as the US, Russia, England and pretty much every other NATO nation since the 70’s/80’s.

Lastly, what kind of asshole would I be if I didn’t thoroughly destroy all of your ridiculous questions, no Trump is not a war criminal for launching 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles (Not bombs, definitely a difference) at an air field in Syria where (and this is entirely based off the fact that the WH believes it so I assume there is some classified intelligence somewhere the public is not privy too and the anecdotal evidence of Assad and Putin not making much of a stink about it.) aircraft were launched that drop barrel bombs full of chemical weapons on a civilian population. This is a war crime, this act alone (again if true) makes Assad a war criminal, so to launch a retaliatory strike as Trump did, is not an act of war, it is exactly what it is, retaliation for a breach of international law.

The only thing you have said thus far that has made any sense is the 6 trillion going to the Middle East. A lot of which is going to construction projects to “rebuild the infrastructure,” of countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq..etc. It’s ridiculous, most of those projects have never been finished and it’s overall just a huge waste of taxpayer money and reeks of backroom deals and theft. You may want to put down the “Big Book of Conspiracy Theories,” and read some real literature since most of your posts read like the insane rantings of a tin foil hat wearing, flat earther.

If you do not honor your Constitutional principles you might as well give the country to any joker that gives you money. That said, I mispoke and should have used the bombs we have dropped in Syria. I guess you and I do not have much to dialogue about since you already accepted that illegal war and its cleanup is the new amerikan way. I just happen to hate that as an outcome along with sending our military to be doing the bloody jobs and bloody work for money.

If we do the ultimate act of going to war, with any nation for any reason, the principle must be honored.

May I remind you also that Bush suspended our agreement regarding the Internationsl Criminal Court and that he along with his sorry cabal were tried in abstencia for war crimes. If you are a Republican, you hide war criminality as well. Please wake up.

Yes I would say you are asleep. We have not invaded Syria. We did bomb it but that is not a invasion. Until you learn the difference you should not speak on the subject. Bombing it was a military action not a invasion not a war. So no congressional approval needed. That dear boy is the facts they can not be changed to fit your narrative. Thanks for playing.

            May 28, 2017 at 3:48 pm

Are you asleep? In 2016 alone, the Obama administration dropped at least 26,171 bombs. This means that every day last year, the US military blasted combatants or civilians overseas with 72 bombs; that’s three bombs every hour, 24 hours a day.
Most of these air attacks were in Syria and Iraq, US bombs also rained down on people in Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. That’s seven majority-Muslim countries. Not to mention all the US weapons that Obama’s administration dropped in Syria to the rebels to take out Assad. He did a good job in hiding that information for awhile. Also Obama & Hillary decided to take out Muammar Gaddafi, which they succeeding in doing and caused a lot of unrest in Libya. Of course your precious Hillary made the comment, We came, “We saw, He died” and laughed about it. So now you have Gaddafi dead, US weapons in Syrian rebel hands, which ended up in ISIS hands along with al qaeda’s hands and then the ultimate atttack on our embassy in Libya with four dead: one being our Ambassador. Obama did 10 times the air strikes that Bush did and killed a lot of citizens. As for Trump, you need to get your fact together but of course the left never reports what really happened. Trump did let Congress know of his plans to launch 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles Thursday evening, targeting the air base from which Syrian President Bashar Assad launched a chemical weapons attack earlier this week against his own people, killing more than 80 men, women and children. A White House official said more than two dozen members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, were briefed Thursday by White House and Cabinet officials. House Speaker Paul Ryan, the No. 3 U.S. official, said he was among those informed.
You blasted Republicans earlier on hiding their wars criminality. How about a little history lesson. Viet nam ring a bell? Eisenhower had “contractors” over in Viet Nam, Kennedy sent more “contractors” over there BUT just before he was assassinated he started bringing them back and said we didn’t belong over there. Along comes Johnson (Democrat) who found a way to send out troops over without Congress, then later went to Congress to send more based on LIES that he told. Let’s talk about our ship that the big lie came up on how the Viet Cong attacked it. End result: 58,000 Americans killed. Let’s go even farther back in history. Pear Harbor ring a bell? Roosevelt (Democrat) was at fault for that one. End result; In total, 2,403 Americans died and 1,178 were wounded. Eighteen ships were sunk or run aground, including five battleships. At the time there was no war declared but perhaps you should study some history on it and find out what & why he was at fault for that. You say it was against the Constitution what Trump did in Syria, I say quit listening to all the left propaganda and learn the Constitution, instead of spouting off a bunch of B S.

Congress has not declared war since Dec. 8, 1941. That means the Korean War, Vietnam War, Iran action under Carter, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Bosnia, Kosovo, Libya, Pakistan… made Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Reagan, Clinton, Bush 41 and 43 and Obama war criminals?

Think a bit. Just a bit.

        • Joe Gerber

          May 29, 2017 at 4:44 am

While Congress didn’t officially make a Declaration of War, they did authorize the use of military force against Iraq in 1991, against the Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and again against Iraq in 2003. So no, neither Bush was a war criminal nor was Obama. As for Truman, Kennedy, and Johnson, the War Powers Act was not made law until 1973 so they were acting in accordance with the laws at that time. So again, not war criminals. I don’t remember if Carter, Reagan or Clinton received Congressional approval or not but I’m sure that info is available. However, since none of those three were ever charged in those instances then they probably did receive authority for military action.

            May 29, 2017 at 9:08 am

Excellent points, Joe. Carter, Reagan, Clinton and both President Bush 41 and 43 did make use of the War Powers Act. Obama did as well but Congress never exercised their obligations to object past the 60-day initial allowable phase, that I can recall. They may have, I just do not remember any activity in that area but am open to being corrected.

Respectfully, though I really was a Bernie supporter, again, if Christian was other than a disgruntled voter vs. a fully acting and active supporter, I see no evidence.

That said, Bernie did tie his work product in the economic front to very good methods of payment because there is no free lunch. I reviewed the decade economic plan he presented which included, for quick examples, eliminating the $100 billion for programs the Pentagon actually requested be eliminated. Eliminating the $200 billion in fossil fuel subsidies. The billions in losses for failure to have government negotiate Rx drug prices. I could go on but I will tell you I no longer follow Bernie since he allied himself back with the Democratic Party and failed to have any outrage against illegal war and failed to call for single payer universal health care coverage which would have saved hundreds of billions. Sad about that.

There’s a long history of this. Back around 1992 Badlands, a notorious
gay bar in the West Village was shot up. In fact, it’s on the same block
where the Village People did their YMCA video. About 12 people were
shot, all survived. Soon the press discovered the suspect’s father was a
preacher and the press went nuts, citing Christian extremism,it’s all
the curches fault, blah blah blah. Later on in the news cycle it came
out that his father wasn’t just any preacher, he was an NYPD Chaplain
and the press really went apesh!t over this, UNTIL…the next day his
mugshot was plastered on the front pages of the Daily News and NY Post,
he was a Black guy. All of a sudden, show’s over, nothing to see here.
Not another word of this incident was mentioned until he was convicted,
even then it wasn’t a big deal.

It’s simple. rational people are driven towards the conservative, classical liberal end of the spectrum by its foundation in reality and the wacko insane types are driven towards the far lefts pandering and hand outs , often for their survival and the presevervation of their objectively unsuccessful lifestyles. I find myself, an atheist accepting of science and secularism and climate change, comfortable among the conservatives of America for their matter of fact, rational, dispassionate and realistic policies.

Bernie and the progressives of America are espousing false hopes and destructive ideologies which are internally inconsistent and aimed at low hanging fruit. They are selling mediocrity for all instead of opportunity for those who pursue it for themselves and their children.
