The BBC’s Katty Kay has come under fire for a video in which she appears to suggests Europe “has to get used” to attacks like yesterday’s fatal bombing in Manchester.
Footage uploaded to Twitter by popular conservative personality Jack Posobiec shows Kay reacting to the bombing on air as footage of emergency workers and horrified bystanders flashes beside her.
“Europe is getting used to attacks like this,” she says. “We have to, because we are never going to be able to totally wipe this out. As ISIS gets squeezed in Syria and Iraq, we’re going to see more of these kinds of attacks taking place in Europe and Europe is starting to get used to that.”

Needless to say, this does not sit well with many people, who are now attacking Kay – a woman who, just hours before the attack, criticized Trump’s “simplistic strategy on Jihadism” that might arguably be able to prevent Europe from having to “get used to” the slaughter of its citizens.
Europe can get used to this if they want but America will never play hostage to ISIS. The normalization of terror by the left is sickening.

How about saying this "We are not going to accept this, this is not normal, we must defeat the Caliphate in Europe." Katty Kay is sick.

No Katty, no one should ever "get used to this."

This shows how Westerners have become "moderate Muslims" — people who deplore/accept/accommodate Islamic violence.

No, we really don't. The BBC has no fucking idea what they are talking about.

Brits what happened to you? Did Churchill say "We'll have to get used to the Nazis. The air raids won't stop"?

Get used to terror and carry on … #UnitedKuckdom

Rather than getting used to innocent ppl being murdered by terrorists, put an end to it. Eliminate the terrorists.

Of course, Katty Kay is far from the first European liberal to suggest people just “get used” to terror attacks.
In September of 2016, London Mayor Sadiq Khan told The Evening Standard, that terrorism “is part and parcel of living in a big city.”
Like Kay, Khan has also criticized President Donald Trump’s proposed strategies to prevent terrorism from becoming “part and parcel of living in a big city.”
“I am quite clear, this ban is cruel, this ban is shameful, while this ban is in place we should not be rolling out the red carpet for President Trump,” he said in reference to the President’s travel ban on Muslim-majority nations.
French President Emmanuel Macron, meanwhile, stated on the campaign trail that terrorism will be part of French citizens’ “daily lives for the years to come.”
As The Guardian reports, this statement was made immediately following the fatal shooting of a police officer.
