Miss USA Caves to Pressure and Backtracks about Answers on Healthcare and Feminism

The newly crowned Miss USA, Kara McCullough, is now backtracking on her answers about Healthcare in two separate interviews…

Kara McCullough was on Good Morning America and also spoke with Inside Edition doing what seems like damage control following backlash due to her conservative answers regarding feminism and healthcare. The backlash against McCullough for the comments were pretty severe. McCullough originally said that healthcare was a privilege and that she didn’t consider herself a feminist. Miss USA seems to be taking back what she said on those subjects in her latest interviews following the backlash. McCullough claimed that instead of meaning that healthcare was a privilege that she meant to say that she is privileged to have healthcare and believes that it should be a right.

Inside Edition also caught up with Miss USA on the street where she took another opportunity to take back what she said about healthcare and allude to being a feminist…

Many on Twitter accused the beauty queen of caving to pressure from the left…

If you don’t want to be assaulted in the street in blue cities then you must tow the line or else.

People act like privilege is a bad thing. There are different levels of privilege. It’s not all silver spoons. For instance, I’m privileged to have been born and raised in America, where I have been able to state my opinion without fear of getting arrested or killed. For now.

“…WME/IMG purchased the pageant from Trump.Currently, Fox holds the broadcast rights for the pageant…” — Wikipedia

FOX is a private corporation. WME/IMG own Miss USA. Isn’t it their right to run their company as they see fit? That’s what Capitalism is after all –D

You mean the fact that her origin statement that Healthcare is not a Right is wrong. Your just trying to find a scapegoat as to why an intelligent black woman can speak the truth?

She can speak for herself after her tenure as Miss USA. Until then she should tow the company line.

Of course, she did. It is hard to resist an attack of the harpies. Harpies the female demons that cannot shut their mouth sent by Zeus to plague humans.

Too bad she doesn’t realize that, given her status as Miss USA, the Left will hate her no matter what she says or does.
