Report: Police Will NOT Charge Muslim Who Filmed Himself Threatening Christians With Guns

Ehab Jaber of Sioux Falls has spoken out in defense of himself following the viral release of a video in which he sits outside a Christian conference and angrily shows off a number of weapons while muttering apparent threats.

As KDLT reports, Jaber claims the Christian event – held at a hotel – was an “anti-Muslim” affair.

“There were children, there were men, women of all ages,” he says, according to the site. “It was a family picnic to hate all Muslims.”

Jaber also says he attended the event out of curiosity before heading outside in anger.

“I was done with the event,” he says. “I didn’t go to hurt anyone, so I left.”

After leaving the event, Jaber filmed this video in which he repeatedly tells viewers, “if you want to be really scared, be scared” as he showcases a number of weapons.

Following the severe backlash that video received, Jaber says he wasn’t threatening anyone.

So why did he make the video?

“Because I can,” he says, according to KDLT. “Because I am an American citizen. There’s a lot of people out there who are going to think that because I’m Muslim I shouldn’t have that right, but tough. Build a time machine, go back in time and change the constitution and we’ll talk about it then.”

Sioux Falls Police will reportedly not be charging Jaber.

According to KDLT, Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens said, “he had a lot of guns with him but he wasn’t breaking any laws. He didn’t threaten anybody directly, he didn’t threaten any groups of people, anything like that, and it’s not illegal to carry guns or have guns with you.”

Event organizer Brannon Howse disagrees with that logic.

“Ask yourself,” he wrote in a Facebook post about Jaber’s video. “If a white ‘Christian’ did this at a Muslim conference would he be arrested or charged?”

These are still photos of the video the self-described Muslim man made in the parking lot of our Worldview Weekend in…

    Of course.

Muslims can do whatever they want, they can threaten who they want, and get nothing but a pat on the ass for it.

They’d charge a Christian had a Christian sat outside a terrorist advocacy center (AKA a Mosque) with a gun threatening Muslims.

So why do Muslims get a free pass?

It is his right to do so, but it is a little weird. I wonder if he loaded up before going to the church gathering with evil intent? Maybe he really believes that Christians want to kill him so he was trying to be prepared. Only he knows. Thank God no violence occurred. I do hope he is on a terrorist watch list now that the video is out. He seems a bit unstable.

  9. Lisa Gavelek Eisenhart

    April 20, 2017 at 1:42 pm

Is he stalking? Did he threaten anyone verbally? Does showing his weapons in order to intimidate others constitute “brandishing” his weapons? I do agree that if a Christian did this at a Muslim gathering, they would have a higher chance of being arrested in some parts of the nation. It may be a small step for him to go from anger to action, he seems pretty angry. Perhaps he should be watched? Put him on a prospective terror list. For sure many white Christians are on terror watch lists in the US, so it seems fair to watch this guy too. Was the Christian gathering an anti-Muslim event, or just regular church activities? I wonder if he considers all church activities to be anti-Muslim? More questions than answers to me. I don’t like to judge people for carrying weapons, I and my family do the same. Usually if we have more than one weapon we are on the way to the shooting range, but it is legal to do so for whatever reason.

    • infowarrior kaimanahila

      April 20, 2017 at 4:49 pm

He did threaten people verbally. He threatened all U.S. Christians verbally when he showed gun after gun and said, “Be scared. Be terrified.” If you’re saying “Be terrified,” that is a terroristic threat, not merely intimidation.

    • John Strickland

You don’t think he knew exactly what he was doing? He knew it was legal to have the guns, in his car…he knew that he was protected under the 2nd amendment. You can’t honestly believe he didn’t know, or have the intention, of the video being perceived as VERY threatening. I hope he threatens the wrong person someday…I would love to watch that video.

    • wkj1970

      April 20, 2017 at 3:11 pm

The question is “What was his intent?”. Why did he go to that conference or picnic, whatever it was, wearing that shirt and having all of his weapons in such close proximity in the vehicle? Was he looking for a confrontation? I have plenty of firearms. But I don’t go to some event where I think there may be people who oppose my lifestyle or ideology with all of my weapons within arms reach of the drivers seat. From what I saw and the way he sounded he was either looking for a fight or he was planning something but chickened out.

          • January

            April 20, 2017 at 9:34 pm

I use to think they were conspiracy theories also. Then with more and more terrorists attacks, people from those countries really started talking. Look how long it took Sweden to admit they had a rape problem. That last terrorist attack in Sweden, the cops went into a no go zone and were chased out and I think it was Milo who published it. If you or I sat in any parking lot were any type of convention was going on with our car loaded with guns and ammo, making facebook live comments, we would be held in jail for at least 24 hours with the possibility of losing our guns. Also, this Muslim that was doing all the swearing, according to Islam “Swearing is considered a debauchery and an immoral act”. Those cops better pray that either this guy or some nut job on facebook that he is friends with doesn’t go out and start shooting up a crowd of people.

Hatred of Christianity is their tenet. Muslims are peaceful only until they outnumber others in society. Then they flip the script. You are walking this earth at the moment of the tipping point.

      • Rekt

        April 22, 2017 at 1:19 am

That’s actually incorrect. Muslims are peaceful until they reach roughly 3-5% of the population, then the rapes, robberies, violence and terror attacks start to happen.
        It’s called “Taqiyya.”
Taqiyya (taqiya, taqiyah, taqiyyah) is a
form of Islamic deception. The Quran (16:106 and 3:28) allows Muslims to
lie to non-muslim in order to protect themselves or to protect the Muslim community.

Officer Clemens is 100% correct. He broke no laws. There’s nothing wrong with owning guns. THIS IS AMERICA. He said, “If you want to be scared, be scare (because I have weapons).” That’s not a threat. That’s not illegal. It’s certainly something to keep your eye on. But I can absolutely imagine if a white Christian had done this what would have happened. Exactly the same thing. I actually recall a bunch of white Christians pointing guns at federal agents at the Bundy Ranch and they weren’t arrested. Which is awesome. But yeah, guys, the Islamic faith is a terrible thing. It’s a serious of heinous truth claims about human rights and pedophilia. It’s a disgusting justification for totalitarianism posing as a faith, the followers of which mostly have stockholm syndrome and submit to fear of it’s more dogmatic adherents. But this wasn’t illegal.

So it is something to keep an eye on despite the fact that he didn’t break a single law. Unfortunately adhering to the principles of freedom means taking some risks which can have terrible outcomes. If we arrest this guy because we’re pretty sure he WILL break the law, then we are giving power to government to arrest people based on its hunches, and we have a problem of how to define what constitutes the possibility someone will commit a crime. Then we have innocent people getting arrested by an indifferent government looking for reasons to expand its power. That’s far worse than sticking to our principles, letting this guy walk free, but keeping a watchful eye.

That guy sounds as American as anyone I’ve ever heard. I know there’s a danger from radical Islam, and I know there is sympathy for the radicals among many who don’t seem radical, but this guy does NOT sound like ANY of those people.

Seems to me there might be a reason to check what was being said by the people in that conference.

I had a discussion with a guy on the website of our local newspaper and he claimed that “Allah” as spelled is actually a kind of code for “666”. I explained multiple times that he was incredibly wrong, and I didn’t insult him or call him stupid, although I should have because he was. What was the result? He went on believing what he wanted to and spewing the same crap.

Acknowledge that radical Islam is a threat? Sure.

The guy in that video doesn’t sound like a radical though. He sounds like an average American at whom some nasty verbal things were targeted and who got a bit ticked off.
